China Abstract In this paper, we study a new SEIRS epidemic model describing nonlinear incidence with a more general form and the transmission of influenza virus with disease resistance. The basic reproductive number 0 is obtained by using the method of next generating matrix. If 0 < 1, the disease-free equilibrium is globally asymptotically stable, and if 0 > 1, by using the geometric method, we obtain some sufficient conditions for global stability of the unique endemic equilibrium. Finally, numerical simulations are provided to support our theoretical results.

A Delayed Epidemic Model with Pulse Vaccination
A delayed SEIRS epidemic model with pulse vaccination and nonlinear incidence rate is proposed. We analyze the dynamical behaviors of this model and point out that there exists an infectionfree periodic solution which is globally attractive if R1 < 1, R2 > 1, and the disease is permanent. Our results indicate that a short period of pulse or a large pulse vaccination rate is the sufficient condi...
متن کاملStability and Bifurcation of an SIS Epidemic Model with Saturated Incidence Rate and Treatment Function
In this paper an SIS epidemic model with saturated incidence rate and treatment func- tion is proposed and studied. The existence of all feasible equilibrium points is discussed. The local stability conditions of the disease free equilibrium point and endemic equilibrium point are established with the help of basic reproduction number. However the global stabili- ty conditions of these eq...
متن کاملDynamics of a Delayed Epidemic Model with Beddington-DeAngelis Incidence Rate and a Constant Infectious Period
In this paper, an SIR epidemic model with an infectious period and a non-linear Beddington-DeAngelis type incidence rate function is considered. The dynamics of this model depend on the reproduction number R0. Accurately, if R0 < 1, we show the global asymptotic stability of the disease-free equilibrium by analyzing the corresponding characteristic equation and using compa...
متن کاملDynamic model of COVID-19 disease and performance analysis of Iran, Germany and Turkey with experimental data
Covid-19 disease is caused by a new type of coronavirus, which is an infectious disease that has so far infected more than 90 million people and killed about 2 million. Hygiene programs, treatment, education, restrictions and other preventive measures are the inputs that can limit the spread of the disease, which in turn reduces the incidence of the disease. In this paper, in order to investiga...
متن کاملNon-linear incidence and stability of infectious disease models.
In this paper we consider the impact of the form of the non-linearity of the infectious disease incidence rate on the dynamics of epidemiological models. We consider a very general form of the non-linear incidence rate (in fact, we assumed that the incidence rate is given by an arbitrary function f (S, I, N) constrained by a few biologically feasible conditions) and a variety of epidemiological...
