چکیده

Finite state bilinear systems are described by a system of differential equations which are linear in state, linear in control, but not jointly linear in both as are traditional linear systems. An introduction to the physical relevance of these systems, their controllability and optimal control is analyzed in references [i] and [2]. It is shown that linear system controllability and performance may be improved by the addition of a bilinear control mode. This is as it would be expected since the bilinear system does exhibit a form of adaptive control and variable structure. These are the reasons that bilinear systems, or at least their approximation, are so common in natural and societal processes as well as in engineering.

NON-FRAGILE GUARANTEED COST CONTROL OF T-S FUZZY TIME-VARYING DELAY SYSTEMS WITH LOCAL BILINEAR MODELS

This paper focuses on the non-fragile guaranteed cost control problem for a class of T-S fuzzy time-varying delay systems with local bilinear models. The objective is to design a non-fragile guaranteed cost state feedback controller via the parallel distributed compensation (PDC) approach such that the closed-loop system is delay-dependent asymptotically stable and the closed-loop performance i...

Periodic Solutions Design for Feedback Bilinear Systems

In this paper, we propose a feedback control for a class of bilinear systems. Based on the Bellman-Gronwall inequality, the exponentially stable periodic solutions or limit cycles, appearing as an ellipsoid in the phase plane, are guaranteed. Moreover, the frequency of oscillation and convergence rate can be correctly estimated for such bilinear control systems. Finally, a numerical example is ...

Stabilization of bilinear systems by a linear feedback control

In recent years, there has been considerable interest in bilinear systems [1, 2, 3] as appropriate mathematical model to represent the dynamical behaviour for a wide class of the engineering, biological, and economic systems. Recently many studies of the bilinear systems have been done from various points of view, e.g. controllability or observability, and a lot of problems connected with the o...

An LMI-Based Stabilization Criterion of Sliding Mode Control for a Class of Bilinear State-Delay Systems

This paper focuses on the problem of sliding mode control for delay-dependent stabilization criterion of bilinear state-delay systems. Based on the linear matrix inequality (LMI) method and a parameterized model transformation technique, we provide a sufficient condition for the existence of sliding surface and we give an explicit formula of sliding surface guaranteeing the asymptotic stability...

Parameterized Bilinear Matrix Inequality Techniques in ${\cal H}_{\infty}$ Fuzzy PID Control Design

Proportional-integral-derivative (PID) structured controller is the most popular class of industrial control but still could not be appropriately exploited in fuzzy systems. To gain the practicability and tractability of fuzzy systems, this paper develops a parameterized bilinear matrix inequality characterization for the H∞ fuzzy PID control design, which is then relaxed into a bilinear matrix...
