MIMO Multiple Access Channel with an Arbitrarily Varying Eavesdropper

چکیده
A two-transmitter Gaussian multiple access wiretap channel with multiple antennas at each of the nodes is investigated. The channel matrices at the legitimate terminals are fixed and revealed to all the terminals, whereas the channel matrix of the eavesdropper is arbitrarily varying and only known to the eavesdropper. The secrecy degrees of freedom (s.d.o.f.) region under a strong secrecy constraint is characterized. A transmission scheme that orthogonalizes the transmit signals of the two users at the intended receiver and uses a single-user wiretap code is shown to be sufficient to achieve the s.d.o.f. region. The converse involves establishing an upper bound on a weightedsum-rate expression. This is accomplished by using induction, where at each step one combines the secrecy and multipleaccess constraints associated with an adversary eavesdropping a carefully selected group of sub-channels.

MIMO Wiretap Channels with Arbitrarily Varying Eavesdropper Channel States
In this work, a class of information theoretic secrecy problems is addressed where the eavesdropper channel states are completely unknown to the legitimate parties. In particular, MIMO wiretap channel models are considered where the channel of the eavesdropper is arbitrarily varying over time. Assuming that the number of antennas of the eavesdropper is limited, the secrecy rate of the MIMO wire...

The arbitrarily varying channel models transmission over a channel with an state that can change over time. We may interpret it as a channel with an evil jammer. The arbitrarily varying channel was first introduced by Blackwell, Breiman, and Thomasian in [8]. The wiretap channel models communication with security. It was first introduced by Wyner in [12]. We may interpret it as a channel with a...
متن کاملOn the Secure Degrees of Freedom of the K-user MAC and 2-user Interference Channels
We investigate the secure degrees of freedom (SDoF) of the K-user MIMO multiple access (MAC) and the two user MIMO interference channel. An unknown number of eavesdroppers are trying to decode the messages sent by the transmitters. Each eavesdropper is equipped with a number of antennas less than or equal to a known value NE . The legitimate transmitters and receivers are assumed to have global...
متن کاملThe Multiple - Input Multiple - Output Systems in Slow and Fast Varying Radio Channels
Multiple-input multiple-output (MIMO) systems are well known as a technique which allows increasing the throughput of a radio link and overcoming the effects of multipath fading. However, the integration of MIMO systems into the standards of wireless networks is slow, as there are numerous problems still unsolved. This PhD thesis deals with MIMO systems in slow and fast varying radio channels. ...
متن کاملA degraded Practical MIMOME Channel: Issues in secret data communications
In this paper, a Gaussian multiple input multiple output multiple eavesdropper (MIMOME) channel is considered where a transmitter communicates to a receiver in the presence of an eavesdropper. We present a technique for determining the secrecy capacity of the multiple input multiple output (MIMO) channel under Gaussian noise. We transform the degraded MIMOME channel into multiple single input m...
