Surfaces of Constant Retarded Distance and Radiation Coordinates

We construct the element of volume vector corresponding to a surface of constant retarded distance around of an arbitrary timelike curve; the method employed is based in the radiation coordinates of Florides-McCrea-Synge for Riemannian 4-spaces. Our results have interest in the study of the electromagnetic Liénard-Wiechert field in curved spacetimes.
