چکیده

• Across Europe, the clinical and economic burden of advanced non-small cell lung cancer (aNSCLC) is high. • Approximately 20% of cancer mortality in European men and women is due to lung cancer; the most common lung cancer type is non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) which accounts for approximately 85% of all lung cancer diagnoses [1]. • Little is known about the real-world treatment, as well as cost and economic burden of aNSCLC in Europe. • The Leading the Evaluation of Non-squamous and Squamous NSCLC study (LENS) was a real-world study that aimed to systematically document healthcare resource utilization (HCRU), and estimate costs for patients with aNSCLC treated with 2 or more lines of therapy in Europe.
