چکیده

The effect of Zn substitution on the DC electrical resistivity, AC electrical conductivity and microstructure of V2O5 doped Zn(1-x)NixFe2O4 with x=0.0, 0.1, 0.2, 0.3, 0.4 (5 samples) were prepared by conventional ceramic technique has been investigated. The structural characterization of nickel-zinc ferrites were done by X-ray diffraction technique. Micro-structural and morphological studies were carried out by scanning electron microscope technique. The lattice constant determined from XRD data is in the reported range (8.4086 A.U.) DC electrical resistivity exhibits excellent semiconducting behavior. The result shows that AC conductivity increase with the increases in frequency. The micrographs of the samples shows that the average grain size increases with the decreases of Zn content while the grain size decrease with decreasing of Ni content. The variation of DC electrical resistivity with temperature is explained in this work.

INFLUENCE OF THE Zn2+ AND Cd2+ ION CONTENTS UPON THE NATURAL SPIN RESONANCE FREQUENCY IN Ni-Zn AND Ni-Cd FERRITES

— The influence of the Zn and Cd ion contents upon the natural spin resonance in Ni-Zn and Ni-Cd ferrites has been investigated. Previous experiments by other authors have shown that substituting Zn ions for Ni ions leads to a change of the total effective anisotropy field and consequently of the natural spin resonance frequency fi. ft measurements have been carried out by using a coaxial line ...

Integration of Ni-Cu-Zn and Hexagonal Ferrites into LTCC Modules: Cofiring Strategies and Magnetic Properties

We have studied the integration of Ni-Cu-Zn ferrite spinels as well as substituted hexagonal Co2Y-and M-type ferrites into LTCC (Low Temperature Ceramic Co-firing) modules. The cofiring behavior and the magnetic properties of these materials were investigated and evaluated for multilayer applications. Ni-Cu-Zn ferrites exhibit permeabilities of μ = 300 – 500 for operating frequencies in the MHz...

Synthesis and Structural Characterization of Nickel Substituted Manganese Zinc Nanoferrites

Magnetic oxides are naturally occurring minerals. In order to understand their unique properties and their utilization in technological applications, one must fully understand the correlation between chemistry, structure, particle size and processing. Among the broad classification of magnetic oxides, the spinel ferrites gain much importance because of their low cost, high magnetic permeability...

Temperature dependence of core loss in cobalt substituted Ni-Zn-Cu ferrites

The temperature dependence of core loss in cobalt substituted Ni-Zn-Cu ferrites was investigated. Co ions are known to lead to a compensation of the magnetocrystalline anisotropy in Ni-Zn ferrites, at a temperature depending on the cobalt content and the Ni / Zn ratio. We observed similar behaviour in Ni-Zn-Cu and it was found that the core loss goes through a minimum around this magneto-crysta...
