Compressive Radar with Off-grid and Extended Targets
نویسنده
چکیده
Compressed sensing (CS) schemes are proposed for monostatic as well as synthetic aperture radar (SAR) imaging with chirps. In particular, a simple method is developed to improve performance with off-grid targets. Tomographic formulation of spotlight SAR is analyzed by CS methods with several bases and under various bandwidth constraints. Performance guarantees are established via coherence bound and the restricted isometry property. CS analysis provides a fresh and clear perspective on how to optimize temporal and angular samplings for spotlight SAR.

Sparse ground-penetrating radar imaging method for off-the-grid target problem
Spatial sparsity of the target space in subsurface or through-the-wall imaging applications has been successfully used within the compressive-sensing framework to decrease the data acquisition load in practical systems, while also generating highresolution images. The developed techniques in this area mainly discretize the continuous target space into grid points and generate a dictionary of mo...

Compressed sensing (CS) schemes are proposed for monostatic as well as synthetic aperture radar (SAR) imaging with chirped signals and Ultra-Narrowband (UNB) continuous waveforms. In particular, a simple, perturbation method is developed to reduce the gridding error for off-grid targets. A coherence bound is obtained for the resulting measurement matrix. A greedy pursuit algorithm, Support-Cons...

The accurate detection of targets is a significant problem in multiple-input multiple-output (MIMO) radar. Recent advances of Compressive Sensing offer a means of efficiently accomplishing this task. The sparsity constraints needed to apply the techniques of Compressive Sensing to problems in radar systems have led to discretizations of the target scene in various domains, such as azimuth, time...
متن کاملA General and Yet Efficient Scheme for Sub-Nyquist Radar Processing
We study the target parameter estimation for sub-Nyquist pulse-Doppler radar. Several past works have addressed this problem but either have low estimation accuracy for off-grid targets, take large computation load, or lack versatility for analog-to-information conversion (AIC) systems. To overcome these difficulties, we present a general and efficient estimation scheme. The scheme first formul...

Sequential estimation of the delay and Doppler parameters for sub-Nyquist radars by analog-to-information conversion (AIC) systems has received wide attention recently. However, the estimation methods reported are AIC-dependent and have poor performance for off-grid targets. This paper develops a general estimation scheme in the sense that it is applicable to all AICs regardless whether the tar...
