چکیده

The ext Generation etwork is a future based network providing next generation services such as IPTV, Online gaming, Video on demand etc, based on IP protocol in the presence of core network. This research based Paper discusses the architecture of ext Generation etwork, its challenges & solutions, its reliability and its pros & cons. The main objective is to investigate the effectiveness of G providing next generation services. This paper discusses the basic customers’ needs and future trends of technologies perspective. Different technologies and their uses providing different services were reviewed. The term ext Generation etwork ( G ) is used to support telecommunication network architecture and its technologies and services. Conventional Public Switched Telephone etwork (PST ) data, Voice Communication and Video Services are to be supported on the basis of G . The information carried through this network is based on packet switched form known as Internet network.

Analysis of an enhanced signaling network for scalable mobility management in next generation wireless networks

In order to support new Personal Communication Services (PCS) in 2.5G and 3G networks, the underlying signaling network must support scalable and fault-tolerant mobility management. A mobility management architecture based on multiple Home Location Registers (HLRs) and multiple Gateway GPRS Support Nodes (GGSN) can meet both of these requirements. In this paper, we consider an enhanced network ...

Software Defined Networking for next generation converged metro-access networks

While the concept of Software Defined Networking (SDN) has seen a rapid deployment within the data centre community, its adoption in telecommunications network has progressed slowly, although the concept has been swiftly adopted by all major telecoms vendors. This paper presents a control plane architecture for SDN-driven converged Metro-Access networks, developed through the DISCUS European FP...

An Evaluation of Architectures for IMS Based Video Conferencing

The IP Multimedia Subsystem is an architectural framework for delivering multimedia services over an Internet Protocol (IP) network. Originally, it was specified for wireless networks, but has since evolved to incorporate fixed line access as well. It forms part of a Next Generation Network (NGN) which is defined as a packet-based network where the service functionality is independent of the un...
