چکیده

Charmonia are flavour singlet mesons and thus in principle contributions from disconnected quark line diagrams might affect their masses, either directly or via mixing with other flavour singlet channels. We present a first study that takes both effects into account. We employ improved stochastic all-to-all propagator techniques (including new methods) to calculate the diagrams that appear within the mixing matrix between the η ′ and the ηc. The runs are initially performed on N f = 2 163 ×32 configurations with the non-perturbatively improved Sheikholeslami-Wilson action, both for valence and sea quarks.

Wavelet Based Estimation of the Derivatives of a Density for a Discrete-Time Stochastic Process: Lp-Losses

We propose a method of estimation of the derivatives of probability density based on wavelets methods for a sequence of random variables with a common one-dimensional probability density function and obtain an upper bound on Lp-losses for such estimators. We suppose that the process is strongly mixing and we show that the rate of convergence essentially depends on the behavior of a special quad...

Density Estimators for Truncated Dependent Data

In some long term studies, a series of dependent and possibly truncated lifetime data may be observed. Suppose that the lifetimes have a common continuous distribution function F. A popular stochastic measure of the distance between the density function f of the lifetimes and its kernel estimate fn is the integrated square error (ISE). In this paper, we derive a central limit theorem for t...

On the Minimax Optimality of Block Thresholded Wavelets Estimators for ?-Mixing Process

We propose a wavelet based regression function estimator for the estimation of the regression function for a sequence of ?-missing random variables with a common one-dimensional probability density function. Some asymptotic properties of the proposed estimator based on block thresholding are investigated. It is found that the estimators achieve optimal minimax convergence rates over large class...

Likelihood Estimation for Stochastic Epidemics with Heterogeneous Mixing Populations

We consider a heterogeneously mixing SIR stochastic epidemic process in populations described by a general graph. Likelihood theory is developed to facilitate statistic inference for the parameters of the model under complete observation. We show that these estimators are asymptotically Gaussian unbiased estimates by using a martingale central limit theorem. Keywords—statistic inference, maximu...

Kernel Type Plug-in Estimators of Functions of Multidimensional Density Functionals and Their Derivatives1

We consider a unified approach to investigation of plug-in pointwise estimators of the functions of the multidimensional density functionals and the derivatives of the functionals, including the functions of the conditional functionals and their derivatives, based on kernel estimators of the substitution elements. Let (Xt)t≥0 be a sequence of random variables satisfying the strong mixing (s.m.)...
