چکیده

An S-I-R epidemiological model with clinical diagnosis of dengue transmission, Dengue Fever (DF), Dengue Haemorrhagic Fever (DHF), Dengue Shock Syndrome (DSS) dynamics in a population in Thailand is discussed. Our model consists of seven non-linear differential equations. The standard dynamical analysis is used for analyzing the behavior for the transmission of dengue disease. Local existence results are given for the resulting ordinary differential system. The numerical results are discussed in terms of threshold parameters and the numerical simulations are shown to confirm our results. Keywords—Clinical diagnosis, numerical simulation , ordinary differential system, S-I-R .

Dengue with Normal Platelet Count and no Hemoconcentration: Automated Hematogram in Cases with Underlying Thalassemia

Dear Editor, Dengue is an important arbovirus infection. This infection can result in an acute febrile illness. The important hematological abnormalities included hemoconcentration and thrombocytopenia (1). Due to the decreased platelet count, the patient might develop petechiae and hemorrhagic complication. In endemic area, the presumptive diagnosis of dengue is usually derived by the cl...

Effect of Rainfall for the Dynamical Transmission Model of the Dengue Disease in Thailand

The SEIR (Susceptible-Exposed-Infected-Recovered) model is used to describe the transmission of dengue virus. The main contribution is determining the role of the rainfall in Thailand in the model. The transmission of dengue disease is assumed to depend on the nature of the rainfall in Thailand. We analyze the dynamic transmission of dengue disease. The stability of the solution of the model is...

Controlling Dengue with Vaccines in Thailand

BACKGROUND Dengue is a mosquito-borne infectious disease that constitutes a growing global threat with the habitat expansion of its vectors Aedes aegyti and A. albopictus and increasing urbanization. With no effective treatment and limited success of vector control, dengue vaccines constitute the best control measure for the foreseeable future. With four interacting dengue serotypes, the develo...

Dengue Disease in Thailand and Mathematical Model for Dynamical Transmission of Dengue Disease

In this paper, we proposed the historical data of dengue disease in Thailand. The reported case and death due to dengue disease are presented by total number, region, month, age, and occupation. The mathematical model is the key to analyze dengue disease which can investigate the reproductive number in order to control the outbreak. At the current, the best way to control the outbreak is contro...

Phylogenetic Analysis of Aedes aegypti Based on Mitochondrial ND4 Gene Sequences in Almadinah, Saudi Arabia

Background: Aedes aegypti is the main vector of the yellow fever and dengue virus. This mosquito has become the major indirect cause of morbidity and mortality of the human worldwide. Dengue virus activity has been reported recently in the western areas of Saudi Arabia. There is no vaccine for dengue virus until now, and the control of the disease depends on the control of the vector. Objectiv...
