intergenerational survey of life style between mothers and daughters in yazd

in current societies because of development of technology and information also ever increasing of variety of services and goods and… makes a vast difference in current and last generation's experience and decrease of reproduction of social values in new society. the aim of this study is to consider the difference of life style dimentions in mothers and daughters in yazd and then consider its affected social factors. this study used sectional measurement and questionnaire to collect information. its sample was among 15-75 year old women in yazd, at 1391, autumn. in this study, hypothesizes have been evaluated by using bordia and engelhard theories as a theoretical framework. the results show a virtual difference between mothers and daughter's lifestyle dimension (cultural consumption, leisure, body management and clothes buying patterns), and a positive correlation between family outcome with body management and clothes buying patterns. also there is a positive and virtual correlation between cultural capital with cultural demand, body management and clothes buying patterns in daughters and a negative correlation with body management and clothes buying patterns in mothers.
