چکیده
Abstract Zagros forests have the greatest impact on soil and water protection in western Iran. Despite this, a significant part of these forests, especially Ilam province, suffered lot due to phenomenon oak decline. The first most fundamental thing person must know when combating this issue is distribution areas forests. Therefore, using parameters affecting decline province based fuzzy logic, map susceptible was prepared. In study, temperature precipitation, slope, aspect, altitude, distance from farmlands, roads forest density were selected as effective gamma overlap method used. results showed that more than 77% are highly extremely This confirms need for rapid action plan protect addition, proposed, which considered fast efficient preparing such maps other areas.

A Review on Ecological Causes of Oak Decline Phenomenon in Forests of Iran
In this study, all the papers about oak decline phenomena in forests of Iran have been reviewed. One hundred and twelve papers from 51 journals were reviewed, and the information presented in each paper was analyzed and finally summarized. Eighty seven percent of the papers were about Brant’s oak (Quercus brantii Lindl.). Most of the studies were focused on the pest and desease of oak decline. ...
متن کاملOak trees decline; a sign of climate variability impacts in the west of Iran
The Persian oak, Quercus brantii, trees in the Zagros region of Western Iran have been in decline since 2000. The decline is assumed to be highly connected with changes in meteorological parameters. Our objectives were to quantify the long-term trends in meteorological parameters and reference evapotranspiration (ET0) in the Zagros region and estimate ecohydrological parameters highly affected ...

that 286,000 ha in Arkansas were affected by the oak decline. In 2002 and 2003, Guldin et al. (2006) established 181 field plots in Arkansas, Missouri, and Oklahoma and estimated that 33% of red oak density (trees/ha) and 30% of red oak basal area in the region were dead or dying. Kabrick et al. (2004) studied nine forested sites in southern Missouri ranging in size from 312 to 514 ha. They rep...

Extended abstract Introduction Dust storms are natural hazards that effect on weather conditions, human health and ecosystem. Atmospheric processes are directly affected by the absorption and diffusion of radiation by dust, and dust in the cloud acts as a nucleus of congestion. The main dust areas in the world are flat topographically dry areas with erosion-sensitive soil and poor vege...
