Youth Attitudes towards Religious Education in Poland

This article presents a sociological and catechetical-pastoral overview of the results an empirical survey that was carried out at beginning 2022 among 257 pupils aged 13–18 who were taking part in religious education public schools Poland. In measurement, computer-assisted interview technique applied (i.e., web interview). Participants asked about their independence making decision to attend classes, motivations, activity during lessons, opinions on lessons teachers. The students content, methods, atmosphere impact knowledge attitudes life. analysis data framed interdisciplinary approach indicated had mildly positive towards education, despite secularisation changes confessional character research shows classes have particular aspects student’s life, faith, good assessment educational classes. main conclusion this is it necessary develop less more open concept Poland, which will be inclusive interesting for pupils.
