Working in Garment Industry and Child Education and Work in Cambodia

Working in the garment industry may positively affect children’s education due to income effect. It also decrease time school and increase at work when parent(s) and/or other adult household members outside home. This study explored effects of parental members’ that on school-age children Cambodia. The estimated results coarsened exact matching analysis revealed significantly impacts child work; particular, female are more likely be less if their parents working. In contrast, an adverse effect was found worked there; were stay longer hours. Rural seem affected by work.
