Work-Family Spillover, Job Demand, Job Control, and Workplace Social Support Affect the Mental Health of Home-Visit Nursing Staff

The primary purpose of this study was to clarify the path by which high job demands on home-visit nursing staff affect their mental health through work-family negative spillover (WFNS, FWNS). secondary control and social support in workplace positively positive (WFPS, FWPS). A cross-sectional survey using a self-administered questionnaire conducted 1,022 visiting working at 108 stations Fukuoka Prefecture February, 2019. measurement tools comprised sociodemographic factors, Japanese version Survey Work-Home Interaction – NijmeGen (SWING-J), Job Content Questionnaire (JCQ-22), Work-Family Culture Scale, K6 scale. Six models were determined an analysis model: (1) time load ? WFNS FWNS psychological distress, (2) (3) (4) WFPS (5) (6) distress. This clarified that may adversely mediation WFNS. It also have effect WFPS.
