چکیده
This research concerned the possibilities of natural management ash, which is a waste product obtained in process burning wood chips bio-heating plant. The basis was pot experiment, carried out greenhouse University Warmia and Mazury Olsztyn, Poland. experiment dealt with influence increasing doses biomass ash added to soil on selected properties. used for taken from arable layer (0–25 cm) soil. It characterized by acidic reaction, low salinity, an average content total carbon (TC). test plant corn. Soil analysis after harvest showed increase pH significant improvement sorption properties, without causing excessive salinity. In addition, available K, P, Mg observed, at highest dose WBA reached: 121.9; 109.3, 41.33 mg kg−1 soil, respectively. trace metals: iron (Fe), manganese (Mn), zinc (Zn), copper (Cu), cadmium (Cd), lead (Pb), cobalt (Co), chrome (Cr), nickel (Ni) quite varied but did not exceed permissible values agricultural soils. forms these metals was, respectively, 1004, 129.9, 8.70, 2.08, 5.54, 0.195, 1.47, 0.97, 1.92 results confirmed fertilizing potential ash.

Characterization of Fly Ash from the Gasification of Wood and Assessment for Its Application as a Soil Amendment
Fly ash was collected as a byproduct from the processing of southern pine wood chips in a pilot-scale biomass gasifier. General properties of the fly ash were determined to assess its applicability as a soil amendment. Its alkaline pH (9.5) and high concentrations of Ca, K, and Mg suggest that it could be used as both a liming agent and a fertilizer. The concentrations of most heavy metals in a...

The effects of wood ash fertilization on soil chemical properties were studied in three young Scots pine (Pinus sylvestris L.) plantations and a Norway spruce (Picea abies (L.) Karst.) plantation with different site fertility in southern Finland. The dose of 3 t ha–1 of loose wood ash was applied to 4 replicate plots (25 × 25 m) at each experiment. Humus layer and mineral soil samples were take...

The application of organic amendments can be an appropriate solution to reclaim and improve physical propertiesof saline-sodic soils. In this research, an experiment was performed under greenhouse conditions to study the effect ofamendments to the physical properties of loamy saline-sodic soil. The five treatments were control (withoutamendment), municipal solid waste compost (MC), vermicompost...

Use of Fly Ash as Soil Amendment for Biofuel Feedstock Production with Concomitant Disposal of Waste Accumulations
Increasingly higher costs of disposal of fly ash (FA) on the one hand, and on the other, the current focus on bioenergy offer opportunities for using FA as soil amendment for producing biofuel feedstock while cleaning up accumulations of the product. Greenhouse pot experiments were conducted in a silt loam soil amended with 0%, 2.5% and 20% FA to determine boundary shoot and root biomass produc...
