Abstract In my paper I will discuss the difference between Wittgenstein’s notebooks, personal diaries and his so called diaristic remarks scattered throughout Nachlass. This includes a distinction philosophical entries. Secondly, outline editing history of Notebooks 1914 – 1916 , Secret Diaries ( Geheime Tagebücher ), Culture & Value 1930s Denkbewegungen ).
