چکیده
We reveal the effects of sweep on wake dynamics around NACA 0015 wings at high angles attack using direct numerical simulations and resolvent analysis. The influence is considered for from $0^\circ$ to $45^\circ$ $16^\circ$ $30^\circ$ a spanwise periodic wing chord-based Reynolds number $400$ Mach $0.1$ . Wing affects dynamics, especially in terms stability fluctuations with implications development three-dimensional (3-D) wakes. observe that attenuates fluctuations. Even as angle influences wake, force pressure coefficients can be collapsed low when examined wall-normal wingspan-normal independent flow components. Some small deviations incidence are attributed vortical structures impose secondary aerodynamic loads, revealed through element Furthermore, we conduct global analysis uncover oblique modes disturbance amplification. also reveals presence wavemakers shear-dominated region associated emergence 3-D wakes attack. Effect of Wing Sweep Angle on the Vortex Interaction of a Tail-Wing Configuration
The goal of this investigation is to study the effect of wing sweep angle on the horizontal wing-body- tail configurations in subsonic flow. For this purpose, a series of wind tunnel tests were conducted on a model having a moveable horizontal tail and a wing planform with different sweep angles. Tests were performed at different tail deflection angles. Static surface pressure distribution over...
متن کاملInertial effects on the generation of co-laminar flows
The assumption of low Reynolds number flow, or Stokes flow, is often applied to the understanding of a broad range of microfluidic devices, including micro-reactors, biomedical devices, and membraneless electrochemical cells. However, recent studies have shown that various inertial effects can play a significant role, even in microfluidic systems. In this work, twoand three-dimensional secondar...
متن کاملDevelopment length of laminar magnetohydrodynamics pipe flows
In this article, a laminar magnetohydrodynamics (MHD) developing flow of an incompressible electrically conducting fluid subjected to an external magnetic field is considered. The aim of the study is to propose a correlation for computing the development length of the laminar MHD developing flow in a pipe. A numerical approach is considered to solve the problem. In the first step, the numerical...
متن کاملThe stability of laminar symmetric separated wakes
Time-dependent computations of the two-dimensional incompressible uniformvelocity laminar flow past a normal flat plate (of unit half-width) in a channel are presented. Attention is restricted to cases in which the well-known anti-symmetric (von Kármán-type) vortex shedding is suppressed by the imposition of a symmetry plane on the downstream plate centreline. With a further symmetry plane at t...
متن کاملEquivalence Relations on Separated Nets Arising from Linear Toral Flows
In 1998, Burago-Kleiner and McMullen independently proved the existence of separated nets in R which are not bi-Lipschitz equivalent (BL) to a lattice. A finer equivalence relation than BL is bounded displacement after dilation (BDD). Separated nets arise naturally as return times to a section for minimal R-actions. We analyze the separated nets which arise via these constructions, focusing par...
