Who is talent? Implications of talent definitions for talent management practice

Although talent is considered imperative for gaining a competitive advantage, management programs’ effectiveness unknown. It believed that consensus on strong theoretical underpinning identifying and its general definition yet to be achieved among academia practitioners. This lack of integration agreement single scholars lead more confusion which inhibits the advancement scholarship. The notion also requires renewed attention in post-pandemic era because everything may not go back normal as pre-pandemic. study addresses gap focuses reviewing existing scholarship definitions conceptualization one place. aims present potential implications practices. Among various discussed, it argued approach makes company vulnerable using full management. Finally, based this in-depth review, will highlight critical research areas towards extended.
