Abstract This study investigates the course of transformations violence present in human-animal relationship multiple periods time, using artistic expressions to contribute this theme. The uses a multidisciplinary approach from fields Arts, History, and Philosophy seeking contributions literature on marketing consumer behavior. Visual critical analysis is methodology used analyze six works art different historical understand over time. Findings suggest that forms are transforming relationship. research challenges domain discussion about relationship, limited positive experiences with companion animals; it brings interpretations ways time meanings practices present; adds elements aimed at discussions reflections necessary for researchers professionals, violence.
