White Lupin (Lupinus albus L.), an Alternative Legume for Animal Feeding in the Mediterranean Area

چکیده
Interest in white lupine has increased recent years animal nutrition due to its balanced protein and lipid content, phytochemical compounds, low alkaloid content. Agronomic traits, nutrients, antioxidant phenols of six lupin genotypes grown a Mediterranean area were explored. Genotypes significantly differed growth stages life cycle length (from 172 204 days after sowing), plant height 36.1 97.2 cm), seed yield 1.02 3.50 Mg ha−1), components. Seed was positively correlated with the number seeds per pod thousand-seed weight. Across average genotypes, high content (397 g kg−1), fiber (133 oil (116 kg−1) oleic acid (453–509 erucic (8–17 found. The n3/n6 ratio varied from 1:1 1:4. Ecotype G showed highest TPC, DPPH•, ABTS•+ Multitalia Apigenin 1 2 derivatives. lowest recorded Volos, Luxor, Lublanc. Overall, this species can be considered suitable feed crop valuable ingredient overall nutritional profile. At present, only Lublanc suggested Nonetheless, interesting agronomic quality traits two ecotypes suggest room for breeding reduce their antinutritional factors.

متن کاملProteins in Relation to Vigor and Viability of White Lupin (Lupinus albus L.) Seed Stored for 26 Years
The aim of the study was to evaluate the vigor and viability as well as to determine and compare the contents of selected protein fractions of white lupin (Lupinus albus L.) seeds stored for 26 years at temperatures of -14°C and +20°C. The seeds stored at -14°C germinated in 86.3%, while the seeds stored at +20°C did not germinate at all. The viability evaluation was confirmed by the measuring ...
