Abstract We consider the seesaw model with two right-handed neutrinos, $N_1$ and $N_2$, masses of which are hierarchical, investigate their contribution to neutrinoless double beta ($0 \nu \beta \beta$) decay. Although lepton number is broken by Majorana such decay processes can be absent in some cases. present a possibility where lighter gives destructive active neutrinos choosing specific mixing elements $N_1$, while $N_2$ sufficiently heavy not contribute $0 \beta$ In this case charged current interaction determined its mass phase neutrinos. then study impacts on direct search for $N_1$. addition, we discuss consequence when one nucleus absent.
