What Factors Cause Weak Industrial Energy Management Practices?

The aim of this study is to investigate the ongoing energy management andenergy efficiency practices in industries Peshawar division KhyberPakhtunkhwa, Pakistan. outcomes research shows that KhazanaSugar Mills, Caliph Pharmaceutical, Naguman Flour Mill have no or lowawareness (awareness level mainly includesbarriers and drivers for efficiency) except FF steelmill. major paces observed lacking awareness are (1) “understand-ing staff workers about savings due practices” (2) “interest top managers imple-mentation” (3) “awareness regarding efficiency” (4) “lack oftechnical competence” (5) “use standardized procedures”. When theindustry were inquired relationship with serviceproviders it found there absolute absence engineers,relationship consultancies long-term strategy allthe industries. It was also lack using renewable energytechnologies all as they relying upon generatorsduring blackout hours. In terms percentage, saving factor of36 kWh/day has replacement fluorescent tube lightswith light emitting diode (LED) lights. Proper maintenance energymanagement heating, ventilation air conditioning system(HVAC) would save a significant amount. thatthere an overall improvement 4% 8% if inclusion been applied stated
