Abstract The Piston is a crucial element of an I.C engine. reciprocating component the engine that converts thermal energy and pressure liberated by ignition air-fuel into mechanical work. design selection material challenging assignment for designer. This paper describes procedure piston four-stroke petrol optimization with different materials was carried out in present analysis done considering two designs, one primary, other optimized one. modelling achieved utilizing Creo parametric further investigation ANSYS workbench. process involves evaluation varied measurements using analytical technique at maximum power condition. While computing various aspects, cumulative impact stress distribution are considered. Three considered designing Piston, their performances scrutinized. Aluminium cast alloy most used manufacturing pistons. However, this project has given better results Silicon Carbide. All it have turned to be than Aluminum Cast alloy.
