Weak Distributivity implying Distributivity
Let B be a complete Boolean algebra. We show that if λ is an infinite cardinal and B is weakly (λ, ω)-distributive, then B is (λ, 2)-distributive. Using a similar argument, we show that if κ is a weakly compact cardinal such that B is weakly (2, κ)distributive and B is (α, 2)-distributive for each α < κ, then B is (κ, 2)-distributive.
متن کاملWeak Σ-distributivity of Lattice Ordered Groups
In this paper we prove that the collection of all weakly distributive lattice ordered groups is a radical class and that it fails to be a torsion class.
متن کاملDistributivity and Dependency
Sentences with multiple occurrences of plural definites give rise to certain effects suggesting that distributivity should be modeled by polyadic operations. Yet, in this paper it is argued that the simpler treatment of distributivity using unary universal quantification should be retained. Seemingly polyadic effects are claimed to be restricted to definite NPs. This fact is accounted for by th...
متن کاملDistributivity and Stationary Reflections
In this paper, we present some relations between generalized distributivity of quotient algebras and Mahlo operations, and show that the distributivity implies some variants of stationary relections. The notion of generalized distributivity appeared in [3] for the first time. In that paper, we began investigating the relations between the notion and other fundamental principles in set theory, e...
متن کاملRule Formats for Distributivity
This paper proposes rule formats for Structural Operational Semantics guaranteeing that certain binary operators are left distributive with respect to a set of binary operators. Examples of left-distributivity laws from the literature are shown to be instances of the provided formats.
