چکیده
The development of effective sorbents based on cheap natural raw materials for water purification from synthetic organic dyes is an important environmental problem. It known that layered silicates are distinguished by mechanical strength, thermal and chemical resistance, high dispersion, ion exchange, availability low cost. However, the main disadvantage clays their insufficiently sorption capacity with respect to toxicants. Therefore, increase it, surface clay minerals modified various physical methods. object study kaolin Glukhovets deposit (Ukraine), rock-forming mineral which kaolinite. After its modification followed acid activation chloride acid, sufficiently structural-sorption properties increased dye, methylene blue, obtained. influence conditions synthesis ceramic physicochemical features dye removal aqueous medium studied. dependence values blue silicate temperature treatment concentration was used activation, has been established specific obtained samples significantly affected both perchloric acid. Thus, under certain experimental conditions, were a area 140 m2/g, exceeds original kaolin, 9 m2/g. A significant in acid-activated compared heat-treated forms established. value maximum almost 2 times reaches 16 mg/g.

Removal of Cationic Dyes from Aqueous Solution using Organomodified Nanoclay
In this work, organomodified nanoclay has been used as the adsorbent for the removal ofbasic blue 41, cationic dye from an aqueous solution. The performance of the organomodified nanoclay was tested in a batch system under varying pH (2–12), adsorbent dosage (0.1–2 g L-1), initial dye concentration (10–60 mgL-1), and contact time (5- 100 min). The best conditions were achieved at pH of 7,...

Up to now, lots of materials such as active carbon, iron, manganese, zirconium, and metal oxides have been widely used for removal of dyes from contaminated water. Among these, ferrite nanoparticle is an interesting magnetic material due to its moderate saturation magnetization, excellent chemical stability and mechanical hardness. Graphene, a new class of 2D carbonaceous material with atom thi...
متن کاملNanocellulose-Based Materials for Water Purification
Nanocellulose is a renewable material that combines a high surface area with high strength, chemical inertness, and versatile surface chemistry. In this review, we will briefly describe how nanocellulose is produced, and present-in particular, how nanocellulose and its surface modified versions affects the adsorption behavior of important water pollutants, e.g., heavy metal species, dyes, micro...
متن کاملHydroxyapatite based ceramic materials
Hydroxyapatite is the major mineral component of human bones. From the point of view of its chemistry, it is calcium orthophosphate which has in its structure hydroxyl groups and in its stoichiometric is described with formula – Ca10(PO4)6(OH)2. Biological properties of hydroxyapatite are very favorable; it is not only biocompatible (which means that after implantation it causes no side effects...
متن کاملSeparation Of Dyes From Cotton Dyeing Effluent Using Cationic Polyelectrolytes
The separation of reactive, sulfur, and vat dyes from cotton dyeing effluent was investigated by a coagulation process using a cationic polymer electrolyte (PE). The coagulation of dyes was found to be considerably influenced by the amount of added PE and pH of the effluent. High degree of separation, (i.e.-90-99%) could be achieved for all the dyes. The secondary treatment of the PE treated (p...
