چکیده
Macrophytes proliferation problem is worldwide know resulting in impacts on natural environment, human health and economic activities. These organisms have several parameters resilience, which ensures high rate of reproduction proliferation, hindering their management. As a management difficulty consequence, however, solutions are sought to disposal this large amount macrophytes, such as composting fertilizer production. Thus, study aims conduct systematic literature review Scientific Platforms Science Direct Scopus, identifying current status macrophytes process, main methods, analyses results obtained, order contribute innovation studies convert type weed into fertilizer. Municipal Solid Waste Composting - a Review
Generation of municipal solid waste (MSW) continues to rise, which leads to loss of resources and increased environmental risks. The conventional treatment of wastes such as open dumping and land filling cause environmental degradation. Since the major fraction of wastes generated in India is organic wastes, composting has emerged as one of the best methods for treatment of wastes. Composting, ...
متن کاملRemoval of Heavy Metals from Waste Water Using Water Hyacinth
-Water pollution has become one of the most serious problems of today’s civilization. In the last few years considerable amount of research has been done on the potential of aquatic macrophytes for pollutant removal or even as bio-indicators for heavy metals in aquatic ecosystems. Water hyacinth is one of the aquatic plant species successfully used for wastewater treatment. It is very efficient...
متن کاملUptake of heavy metals by natural zeolite during agitated pile composting of water hyacinth composting
The studies were carried out on heavy metal bioavailability and leachability during water hyacinth composting mixed with cattle manure, sawdust and natural zeolite. The water hyacinth, cattle manure and sawdust were taken in the 6:3:1 ratio with 5, 10 and 15% natural zeolite and composted for 30 days. The concentrations of nutrients and total heavy metals were increased during the process. Due ...
متن کاملI Monitoring Water Quality at a Food Waste Composting Site
In 1993, the Georgia Diagnostic and Classification Prison (located near Jackson, GA) initiated an on-site composting operation to convert food waste into a useable by-product. Each week, inmates compost about 20 tons of food waste, which are mixed with ground cardboard, hay, yard leaves, or wood products. The operation takes place on a 1.2-ha site (3 acres) that drains towards a small, paermial...
