Water Ecosystem Service Quality Evaluation and Value Assessment of Taihu Lake in China

Taihu Lake is the third largest freshwater lake in China. Water ecosystems play an important role survival and development of human society. The evaluation water ecosystem services helpful to understand grasp changing rules Lake’s value recent years. First, we used Environment Qualities Index (WQI) evaluate ecological quality Lake; second, on basis survey data from 2010 2018, combined economic methods Lake. system includes four major service functions, 11 second-class indicators 19 index factor. Research indicates that, (1) past 8 years, WQI increased year by changed moderate pollution light pollution; (2) provisioning are main order various values was > regulation cultural support value, with supply as core function services; (3) total 2010, 2014, 2018 were 115.39 billion yuan, 113.31 119.96 respectively, showing a trend first decreasing then increasing. To certain extent, improvement has led increase services.
