چکیده

Currently, in the world, there are many different hydrological models built and developed to solve problems related cycle. Each model has its specific mathematical foundations describe physical processes nature. Therefore, each various characteristics: setting up model, input data requirements, calibration verification, output results. Water balance is still playing an important role effective management use of water resources for agriculture. Based on results parameter’s calculation, study basin can be calculated by user or separated module model. have advantages disadvantages. However, it impossible simulate completely accurately Still, simulation give us a view changing trend components balance. Model developers gradually completing shortcomings improving efficiency accuracy so that reality with highest accuracy. This paper sets out review fifteen currently widely used world. Within frame present study, some only briefly introduced; rest considered more detail, from aspects, examples readers decide themselves which suitable their area needs, especially identity complex unpredictable impacts climate change agricultural sector.

Integration and Coupling of Hydrological Models with Water Quality Models:

Conceptual watershed model developed to examine water quality as it is affected by soil erosion from agriculture and urban areas (Young et al., 1987). AGNPS has three major components: hydrology, soil erosion and nutrient pollution. The hydrological function provides prediction of runoff volume and peak flow rate. The soil erosion function includes soil erosion and sedimentation. The nutrient f...

Simulation of Water Balance Components Using a Distributed Hydrological Model in Taleghan Watershed

Water changes information in the hydrological system, in time and space, as an environmental issue takes heed of managers and decision makers in watershed management and river engineering, which can be addressed by using spatially distributed modeling. In this study simulation of water balance components in Taleghan mountainous watershed is performed using the spatially distributed hydrological...

Socio-hydrological water balance for water allocation between human and environmental purposes in catchments

Rebalancing water allocation between human consumptive uses and the environment in water catchments is a global challenge. This paper proposes a socio-hydrological water balance framework by partitioning catchment total evapotranspiration (ET) into ET for society and ET for natural ecological systems, and establishing the linkage between the changes of water balance and its social drivers and r...

Integration of water balance models in RIVERTWIN

In the project RIVERTWIN climate, hydrologic, groundwater and water quality models are integrated in order to evaluate river basin management plans established for the implementation of the EU Water Framework Directive. In such integrated models, which try to simulate all relevant processes in a river basin realistically, modelling of the water balance plays a key role. Therefore the integratio...

Application of Hydrological Balance Approach in the Study of Surface Water-Groundwater Exchange (Case Study: Zayandehrood River)

Introduction: Studying the changes in surface water storage and exchanges with groundwater in the hydrological system of rivers is a prerequisite for water resources management in the basin. In this paper, Zayandehrood River has been studied and the historical series of flow has been used in six hydrographic stations located downstream the Zayandehrood Dam. Materials and Methods: Based on the ...
