Wang procedure: A reasonable choice for reoperation after failure of Nuss procedure for pectus excavatum

Pectus excavatum is a common thoracic deformity, and Nuss procedure considered as the standard operation for treatment of this deformity. However, there are often cases failure in clinic. Once such situation occurs, it needs to be operated again. Since can cause adhesions behind sternum bilateral cavities, if still used reoperation, not only very difficult, but also possible heart lung injuries. Therefore, an ideal choice reoperation. Wang new method treat deformity depressed chest wall. mainly performed outside wall rarely involves structures cavity, suitable reoperation after procedure. This article reports 12-year-old boy who had failed We achieved satisfactory results.
