This paper offers an analysis of wage income inequality for Mexico and some insights about welfareimprovements several categories workers. We analyze real distributions at differentpoints time, using mainly nonparametric techniques. A New Approach to Personal Income Distribution
The results of R dynamical random surface model (2-dimensional quantum gravity with a R term) are applied to explain the personal income distribution. A scale invariance exists if there is not the R term in the action. The R term provides a typical scale and breaks the scale invariance explicitly in the low and middle income range. A new distribution, Weibull distribution, is deduced from the a...
متن کاملAnalysis of the Effect of Financial Policy (Income Tax) on Income Distribution in Iran with ARDL Approach
Economic justice and equitable distribution of income, along with important issues such as economic growth and development, the reduction of inflation and unemployment, have always been of concern to economists. Fair distribution of income and reduction of income inequality in society, and the identification of factors affecting income inequality to make the right policy are necessary and obvio...
متن کاملTrends in Nebraska's Wage Distribution
Introduction age growth has been a persistent challenge for the United States economy in recent decades (Mishel, 2013). Middle class wage growth has been weak while job polarization has widened the gap in wages between the highest and lowest paying jobs. Many argue that technological change and globalization are the two main economic factors behind these trends (Dietz, 2012). These problems hav...
متن کاملAsymptotic distribution of the nonparametric distribution estimator based on a martingale approach in doubly censored data
For analysis of time-to-event data with incomplete information beyond right-censoring, many generalizations of the inference of the distribution and regression model have been proposed. However, the development of martingale approaches in this area has not progressed greatly, while for right-censored data such an approach has spread widely to study the asymptotic properties of estimators and to...
متن کامل9611 Sectoral Wage Convergence : a Nonparametric Distributional Analysis
The large shift of U.S. employment from goods producers to service producers has generated concern over future income distribution, because of perceived large relative pay differences. This paper applies a nonparametric density overlap statistic to compare the sectors distribution of full-time, weekly wages at all wage levels. To counter problematic features of Current Population Survey data--...
