چکیده
As the focus of graphene research shifts from fundamental physics to applications, scalability and reproducibility experimental results become ever more important. Graphene has been proposed as an enabling material for continuing growth telecommunications industry due its applications in optoelectronics; however, extent adoption will depend on possibility maintain high intrinsic quality when processing it using industry-standard approaches. We look at challenges scalable integration opportunities presented by recent technological advances.

Cascading wafer-scale integrated graphene complementary inverters under ambient conditions.
The fundamental building blocks of digital electronics are logic gates which must be capable of cascading such that more complex logic functions can be realized. Here we demonstrate integrated graphene complementary inverters which operate with the same input and output voltage logic levels, thus allowing cascading. We obtain signal matching under ambient conditions with inverters fabricated fr...
متن کاملWafer-scale growth of large arrays of perovskite microplate crystals for functional electronics and optoelectronics
Methylammonium lead iodide perovskite has attracted intensive interest for its diverse optoelectronic applications. However, most studies to date have been limited to bulk thin films that are difficult to implement for integrated device arrays because of their incompatibility with typical lithography processes. We report the first patterned growth of regular arrays of perovskite microplate crys...
متن کاملWafer-Scale Integration of Graphene-based Electronic, Optoelectronic and Electroacoustic Devices
In virtue of its superior properties, the graphene-based device has enormous potential to be a supplement or an alternative to the conventional silicon-based device in varies applications. However, the functionality of the graphene devices is still limited due to the restriction of the high cost, the low efficiency and the low quality of the graphene growth and patterning techniques. We propose...
متن کاملWafer-scale reduced graphene oxide films for nanomechanical devices.
We report a process to form large-area, few-monolayer graphene oxide films and then recover the outstanding mechanical properties found in graphene to fabricate high Young's modulus ( =185 GPa), low-density nanomechanical resonators. Wafer-scale films as thin as 4 nm are sufficiently robust that they can be delaminated intact and resuspended on a bed of pillars or field of holes. From these ...
