چکیده

Natural disasters like earthquakes and tsunami could destroy the existing infrastructure-based communication system. IoT-based health monitoring is not possible in such scenarios. Therefore, there a need for other resilient frameworks to provide consistent without depending on platforms. Wireless Body Sensor Network (WBSN) based utilizing Vehicular Ad-hoc (VANET) as medium be handy solution transmitting patients’ information nearest ambulance or hospital emergencies disaster-prone areas. Casualty rates can reduced significantly by providing emergency treatment injured patients within stipulated time. VANET’s applications are time-critical; therefore, designing stable efficient routing algorithm significant research challenge. Over years, researchers proposed many solutions minimize delay critical applications. This paper Weighted Geographical Routing (W-GeoR) focusing next-hop node selection faster vital signs dissemination facilitate post-disaster urban traffic environments. The protocol utilized traffic-aware including mobility, inter-vehicle distances, speed differences, link expiration time, channel quality, proximity factors optimal procedure. W-GeoR tested scenario created with SUMO-0.32 NS-3.23 Simulated results confirm that performs better than state-of-the-art protocols.

Lightweight intersection-based traffic aware routing in Urban vehicular networks

One of the important characteristics of VANETs is the multi-hop communications, which provides Vehicleto-Vehicle(V2V) communication for many applications. In order to adapt to mobility in high speeds and limited-time communication links, traffic aware routing was proposed in many research works. As a type of position based routing protocols, traffic aware routing utilizes vehicles’ positions an...
