VP12.02: Evaluation of fetal kidneys during routine third trimester growth scan: a step not to be missed?

The aim of this study was to evaluate the importance rechecking fetal kidneys at a routine third-trimester growth scans, even if they were reported as normal during second trimester anomaly scan. Patients diagnosed with renal abnormalities for first time seen between April 2017 September 2020, retrospectively identified from obstetric database. Cases where abnormal scan, excluded study. In all cases postnatal follow-up obtained. 25 had abnormally (total patients 3032), mean gestational age 33+1 weeks. most common new abnormality detected pelvis dilatation (60%, n = 15/25 cases).
