Volvulus of the Sigmoid Colon without Necrosis: Therapeutic Aspects in Hospital Fousseyni Daou Hospital in Kayes, Mali

Patients Methods: This retrospective cross-sectional study performed at Fousseyni Daou Hospital Kayes from January 2014 to December 2021. We included all patients operated without necrosis. parameters studied were comorbidity factor, surgical modalities, morbidity mortality. Results: collected 31 patients, whom 29 men 2 women, sex ratio 14.5. mean age 55 years with extremes (29 - 78 years). Sigmoidectomy colorectal anastomosis 19 cases (61.3%), average these 46.16 years, factor 1 case (3.2%), postoperative course simple 12 (63.1%), 6 (26.3%) (3.2%).
