Transient Analysis of Nonlinear Circuits by Combining Asymptotic Waveform Evaluation with Volterra Series

|A new method is proposed for the transient analysis of circuits with large number of linear lumped elements and lossy coupled transmission lines, and with few mildly nonlinear terminations. The method combines the Volterra-series technique with Asymptotic Waveform Evaluation approach and corresponds to recursive analysis of a linear equivalent circuit.

On macromodeling of nonlinear systems with time periodic coefficients

Some new techniques for reduced order (macro) modeling of nonlinear systems with time periodic coefficients are discussed in this paper. The dynamical evolution equations are transformed using the Lyapunov-Floquet (L-F) transformation such that the linear parts of the new set of equations become time-invariant. The techniques presented here reduce the order of this transformed system and all or...

The Time-Domain Vector Fitting Algorithm for Linear Macromodeling

The Time-Domain Vector Fitting (TD-VF) algorithm for macromodeling of linear multiport systems is presented. A rational approximation for the system matrix transfer function is easily derived from transient input/output port responses. Several validations illustrate the high accuracy of the method.
