چکیده
Volatile organic compounds (VOCs) were monitored online at three photochemical assessment monitoring stations (MDS, WQS and HGS) in the Pearl River Delta region during summer of 2016. Measured levels VOCs MDS, HGS sites 34.78, 8.54 8.47 ppbv, respectively, with aromatics alkenes as major ozone precursors to secondary aerosol (SOA). The positive matrix factorization (PMF) model revealed that mainly came from vehicle exhaust, petrochemical industry, solvent use. Vehicle exhaust industrial processes losses contributed most formation potentials (OFP) VOCs, while SOA VOCs. Potential source contribution function (PSCF) analysis a north-south distribution for regions occurring MDS emission sources Guangzhou centered central districts, showed an east-west across Huizhou, Dongguan east Guangzhou, south-north Foshan, Zhaoqing Yangjiang. This study demonstrates multi-point high time resolution data can help resolve locate areas important precursors.

Volatile Organic Compound (VOC) measurements in the Pearl River Delta (PRD) region, China
We measured levels of ambient volatile organic compounds (VOCs) at seven sites in the Pearl River Delta (PRD) region of China during the Air Quality Monitoring Campaign spanning 4 October to 3 November 2004. Two of the sites, Guangzhou (GZ) and Xinken (XK), were intensive sites at which we collected multiple daily canister samples. The observations reported here provide a look at the VOC distri...
متن کاملNeo-tectonic Movement in the Pearl River Delta (PRD) Region of China and Its Effects on the Coastal Sedimentary Environment
This chapter presents the Late Quaternary neo-tectonic movement in the Pearl River Delta (PRD) region of China and its effects on the coastal sedimentary environment. Taking the Xilin Hill fault as the example, we have explained the reason of the PRD formation, inferred its interactions with local/regional climate and sea-level changes, and analyzed the evolution of the PRD formation and its co...

متن کاملNumerical model to quantify biogenic volatile organic compound emissions: The Pearl River Delta region as a case study.
This article compiles the actual knowledge of the biogenic volatile organic compound (BVOC) emissions estimated using model methods in the Pearl River Delta (PRD) region, one of the most developed regions in China. The developed history of BVOC emission models is presented briefly and three typical emission models are introduced and compared. The results from local studies related to BVOC emiss...
متن کاملRegional and local contributions to ambient non-methane volatile organic compounds at a polluted rural/coastal site in Pearl River Delta, China
Identification of major sources of airborne pollutants and their contribution to pollutant loadings are critical in developing effective pollution control and mitigation strategies. In this study, a comprehensive dataset of non-methane volatile organic compounds (NMVOCs) collected from August 2001 to December 2002 at a polluted rural/coastal site in the Pearl River Delta (PRD) is analyzed to as...
