Vitamin D Supplementation in women with Diminished Ovarian Reserve: A Randomized Controlled Trial

Background: Diminished ovarian reserve (DOR) predicts decreased response to stimulation. Low serum anti-Mullerian hormone (AMH) is associated with DOR. AMH a marker of and acts as predictor stimulation protocol. The up regulated by vitamin D via elements that bind the receptor. Vitamin supplementation has role in increasing AMH. objective was compare combined effect DHEA vs alone on Methods: This randomized controlled trial conducted Department Reproductive Endocrinology Infertility, Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib medical University (BSMMU), Dhaka, from March 2021 February 2022. A total 44 infertile women DOR, 20 39 years were allocated into two groups, one received plus for 8 weeks other same duration. After treatment, both groups had repeat assessment AMH, FSH transvaginal sonography AFC. Results: There no significant difference after But spontaneous pregnancy during intervention 2.57 times more those given supplementations addition dehydroepiandrosterone (DHEA).Conclusions: Short term adds little but favors
