چکیده

This paper proposes a novel method for synchronizing high frame-rate (HFR) camera with an HFR projector, using visual feedback-based synchronization algorithm streaming video sequences in real time on visible-light communication (VLC)-based system. The frame rates of the and projector are equal, their phases synchronized. Enhancement Strategies for Frame-to-frame Uas Stereo Visual Odometry

Autonomous navigation of indoor unmanned aircraft systems (UAS) requires accurate pose estimations usually obtained from indirect measurements. Navigation based on inertial measurement units (IMU) is known to be affected by high drift rates. The incorporation of cameras provides complementary information due to the different underlying measurement principle. The scale ambiguity problem for mono...

A Single-frame Visual Gyroscope

Rapid camera rotations (e.g. camera shake) are a significant problem when real-time computer vision algorithms are applied to video from a handheld or head-mounted camera. Such camera motions cause image features to move large distances in the image and cause significant motion blur. Here we propose a very fast method of estimating the camera rotation from a single frame which does not require ...

Frame Synchronization in Digital Communication Systems

This paper introduces the problem of frame synchronization in digital communication receiver and evaluates the performance of using different sequences for frame synchronization such as Barker, NeumanHofman and PN sequences. In this work we use a correlation rule based method where the receiver, after recovering phase value, the given input values are correlated with a sync pattern (marker) and...

Variance Based OFDM Frame Synchronization

The paper deals with a new frame synchronization scheme for OFDM systems and calculates the complexity of this scheme. The scheme is based on computing of the detection window variance. The variance is computed in two delayed times, so a modified Early-Late loop is used for the frame position detection. The proposed algorithm deals with different variants of OFDM parameters including guard inte...

Sequential filtering for multi-frame visual reconstruction

Al~a'aet. We describe an extension of the single-frame visual field reconstruction problem in which we consider how to efficiently and optimally fuse multiple frames of measurements obtained from images arriving sequentially over time. Specifically we extend the notion of spatial coherence constraints, used to regularize single-frame problems, to the time axis yielding temporal coherence constr...
