Vision-Based System for Black Rubber Roller Surface Inspection

This paper proposes a machine vision system for the surface inspection of black rubber rollers in manufacturing processes. The aims to enhance quality by detecting and classifying defects. A lighting is installed highlight Two algorithms are proposed defect detection: traditional-based method deep learning-based method. former fast but limited detection, while latter slower capable accuracy verified through experiments, with achieving near-perfect approximately 98% an 95.2% detection 96% classification. can significantly improve rollers, thereby ensuring high-quality production.
