Villin Family Members Associated with Multiple Stress Responses in Cotton

چکیده
Villin (VLN) is considered to be one of the most important actin-binding proteins, participates in modulating actin cytoskeleton dynamics, plays essential role plant development and resisting adverse environments. However, systematic studies VLN gene family have not been reported cotton (Gossypium). In this study, 14 GhVLNs were identified G. hirsutum. These GhVLN genes distributed 6 A-subgenome chromosomes D-subgenome allotetraploid upland classified into three phylogenetical groups based on classification model AtVLNs. addition, highly conserved structure motif architecture. The number introns was ranged from 18 22 length protein sequences varied 901 1077. Six gelsolin homology domains, G1–G6, villin headpiece domain, VHP, existed all with exception two VLNs (GhVLN6 GhVLN13) which lacked VHP. Cis-elements analysis revealed that promoter regions contained various light related components also elements responsible for phytohormones stresses response, indicating that, when subjected those environments, plants may activate response system by targeting survive crisis. Heatmaps showed exhibited expression patterns, some accumulated certain tissues, root, petal, stamen or elongating fibers, obviously induced environmental changes. Especially GhVLN3 GhVLN10 preferentially expressed fibers distinctly upregulated abiotic (salt, PEG, cold heat) biotic (Verticillium dahliae V991) stresses. This study provide useful information biological function identification resources creating high-quality resistant germplasms.

Posttraumatic stress disorder in women with war missing family members.
BACKGROUND Research in crisis areas indicate that survivors' responses to the forced disappearance of family members are similar to reactions to other traumatic events. The aim of this study was to determine the presence of symptoms of posttraumatic stress disorder (PTSD) in women with war missing family members in Bosnia and Herzegovina 18 years after the war in this region (1992-1995). متن کاملThe effect of critical care hospitalization on family members: stress and responses.
Family members of intensive care patients may experience stressors that threaten both personal health and family integrity. This study found that family members endure multiple concurrent stressors and exhibit numerous behavioral responses, including changes in eating, sleeping, activity, and family roles and responsibilities. Nurses can promote family integrity with interventions that address ...
متن کاملNeural responses to emotional stimuli are associated with childhood family stress.
BACKGROUND An early family environment marked by harsh parenting has been related to risk for multiple mental disorders in adulthood, risks that may be mediated, in part, by deficits in emotion regulation skills. This study examined neural mechanisms underlying these consequences of "risky" families (RF) by exploring neural activity to tasks involving responses to emotional stimuli. METHODS P...
متن کاملIntegration analysis of MKK and MAPK family members highlights potential MAPK signaling modules in cotton
Mitogen-activated protein kinase (MAPK) cascades play a crucial role in plant growth and development, as well as their biotic and abiotic stress responses. As a nodal point of the MAPK cascade, the MKK gene family has not been systematically studied in cotton. Here, we identified 11 putative MKK genes in the Gossypium raimondii genome. Phylogenetic analysis showed that the MKKs were supported b...

Attenuated familial polyposis (AFAP) is a subset of familial adenomatous polyposis (FAP) that has a relatively benign disease course. AFAP is characterized by no more than 100 colorectal polyps and has a tendency toward rectal sparing, a 20–25-year delay in the onset of adenomatosis and bowel symptoms, a 10–15-year delay in the development of colorectal cancer, and death caused by colorectal ca...
