Views of Turkish EFL teacher trainees toward technology-integrated PBL practices

Problem-Based Learning (PBL) is increasingly becoming popular in teacher education, just like the prevalence use of Modular Object Oriented Dynamic Environment (Moodle) which an instructional socio-constructivist online tool providing collaborative learning. PBL where learning occurs through real-life problem solving practices also included constructivist approach. This study was designed as a mixed methods research English Foreign Language (EFL) trainees were involved Moodle with aim problems related to language teaching and they encountered at practicum schools. Participants 93 EFL studying state university Turkey. The aimed reveal participants’ views their experiences within scope Materials Evaluation Adaptation Course. Data collected questionnaires interviews; analyzed descriptive statistics content analysis consecutively. Results demonstrated that training activities delivered yielded promising benefits for trainees’ professional development despite some minor flaws faced process. Thus, can be considered useful method deliver such courses offered any branches education.
