Video Palmprint Recognition System Based on Modified Double-line-single-point Assisted Placement

Palmprint has become a popular biometric modality; however, palmprint recognition not been conducted in video media. Video (VPR) some advantages that are absent image recognition. In VPR, the registration and can be automatically implemented without users’ manual manipulation. A good-quality selected from frames or generated fusion of multiple frames. VPR contactless mode overcomes several problems caused by contact mode; mode, especially mobile encounters with revere challenges. Double-line-single-point (DLSP) assisted placement technique overcome challenges as well effectively reduce localization error computation complexity. This paper modifies DLSP to invalid area addition, valid frames, which users place their hands correctly, according finger gap judgement, then key have good quality, gallery samples matched query for authentication decision.
