Vibration Diagnostic Methods of Automatic Transmission Service Requirement Prediction

Automatic transmission is a key factor for autonomous driving. The condition highly affected by the quality and quantity of oil in system. However, not monitored system, change interval method are still subject discussion. This paper analyzes effects changes automatic transmissions. measurements were carried out before after with same external conditions. With vibration measurement method, data can be collected without disassembling parts during operational Furthermore, time- frequency-based analyses conducted to compare different transmissions’ operations. results have shown that effect degradation measurable on amplitude signals and, therefore, predictable diagnostics. During evaluation, maximum values compared at least 2-s length.
