Vibration Analysis of Lathe Machine Tool

Today, machine tools play a vital role in the production of parts any manufacturing industry. The dimensional accuracy and surface finish work piece depends mainly on condition machine. Vibration occurring has been being serious problem for engineers many decades. Undesired relative vibrations between tool work-piece jeopardize quality surfaces during cutting.
 Many Condition Monitoring Techniques are available to monitor experimentally. Among these techniques, vibration monitoring is most widely used technique because failures could be due increased level.
 In present study, analysis lathe component investigated. governing equation motion formulated using modal approach. Given discretised into equivalent six lumped mass system which having degrees freedom model considered development tool. natural frequencies respective mode shapes estimated analysis. Furthermore, displacement at each evaluated investigate transmission steady state response precautionary measures also suggested reduce response.
