چکیده
Silica is considered one of the most prevalent components in Earth’s shell and synthesized for use technological applications. Nevertheless, new methods finding a better, cheaper, more ecologically friendly supply silica with less energy consumption are unavoidable. This study investigates whether nanopowders made from waste great amount (fly ash glass) can be utilized as fillers an epoxy glue to enhance its characteristics. Four different contents (5, 10, 15, 20 wt%) nano–fly ash, nanoglass, nanosilica powder were introduced into samples. Fourier transform infrared analysis, differential scanning calorimetry viscosity testing, microhardness testing conducted nanoglass/epoxy ash/epoxy samples, which compared silica/epoxy Results indicated that nanoglass have same impact on characteristics epoxy. The hardness increased increase added filler. At wt%, value composites was greater than nanosilica/epoxy fly by about 15% 7%, respectively. results also highest values obtained when using wt%. Furthermore, modification nanoparticles had no significant effect glass transition temperatures.

Identifying Glass Compositions in Fly Ash
In this study, four Class F fly ashes were studied with a scanning electron microscope; the glassy phases were identified and their compositions quantified using point compositional analysis with k-means clustering and multispectral image analysis. The results showed that while the bulk oxide contents of the fly ashes were different, the four fly ashes had somewhat similar glassy phase composit...

This study investigates the utilization of slag and fly ash (FA) as alternative cementitious binder. Combination of 60% slag and 40% FA was used as new binder. In addition, for activation of slag and FA, sodium hydroxide and calcium hydroxide was used as a chemical activator by 5% weight of the binder, separately. Water to binder and sand to binder ratios was kept 0.55 and 3 in mortar preparati...
متن کاملMechanical Properties of Epoxy Resin – Fly Ash Composite
There has been significant increase in use of glass fibre reinforced composites as structural materials in naval mine countermeasure surface ships. Sea mines when detonated emit underwater shock waves, which could impart severe loading to naval ship structure; there are attempts to model the response of a ship structure to this loading. For the model to be accurate & useful material property da...
