چکیده
In this study, the energy levels of two-electron Cornell quantum dot (TECQD) immersed in Debye and plasma mediums are probed. To model mediums, more general exponential cosine screened Coulomb (MGECSC) is suggested. The presence TECQD environment velocity-dependent potential (VDP) effect system render very difficult to solve relevant wave equation. Since analytical solution equation difficult, numerical asymptotic iteration method (AIM) used. As well as effects encompassing parameters on possible radiations TECQD, VDP (and Debye) medium also presented detail. addition, alternativeness VDP, each other these discussed.

The exact numerical diagonalization of the Hamiltonian of a 2D circular quantum dot is performed for 2, 3, and 4 electrons. The results are compared with those of the perturbation theory. Our numerical results agree reasonably well for small values of the dimensionles coupling constant λ = a a B where a is the dot radius and a B is the effective Bohr radius.Exact diagonalization results are compa...

The shifted 1/N expansion technique used by El-Said (Phys. Rev. B 61, 13026 (2000)), to study the relative Hamiltonian of two interacting electrons confined in a quantum dot, is investigated. El-Said’s results from SLNT are revised and results from an alternative method are also reported. The distinctive role of the central spike term, (m − 1/4)/q, in determining spectral properties of the abov...
متن کاملOn the correlation energies for two interacting electrons in a parabolic quantum dot
The correlation energies for two interacting electrons in a parabolic quantum dot are studied via a pseudo-perturbation recipe. It is shown that the central spike term, (m2 −1/4)/r2, plays a distinctive role in determining the spectral properties of the above problem. The study is carried out for a wide range of the Coulomb coupling strength λ relative to the confinement.

The spectral properties of up to four interacting electrons confined within a quasi one–dimensional system of finite length are determined by numerical diagonalization including the spin degree of freedom. The ground state energy is investigated as a function of the electron number and of the system length. The limitations of a description in terms of a capacitance are demonstrated. The energet...

Measurements and a theoretical interpretation of the excitation spectrum of a two-electron quantum dot fabricated on a parabolic Ga[Al] As quantum well are reported. Experimentally, excited states are found beyond the well-known lowest singletand triplet states. These states can be reproduced in an exact diagonalization calculation of a parabolic dot with moderate in-plane anisotropy. The calcu...
