چکیده
Colorectal carcinoma has increasingly been reported to be associated with gut microbial dysbiosis. Bacteroides, Fusobacterium, Faecalibacterium, Blautia, etc., are microbes commonly colorectal carcinoma. Gut dysregulation secondary infectious, inflammatory, toxin exposure or change in dietary habits coupled the disruption of inner mucosal layer overlying luminal epithelium is hypothesized as inciting events leading invasion and subsequent tumorigenesis. Although precise mechanism unclear, normal host responses like inflammation, apoptosis, cellular proliferation, free radical injury, production oncogenic toxins, postulated play a role. We report case Veillonella bacteremia patient metastatic without preceding history periodontal disease. The was managed ampicillin-sulbactam, which followed by negative blood cultures. This signifies association microbiota importance screening for cancer following bacteremia.
