چکیده
As an important ecological corridor, the Yellow River basin (YRB) is crucial for eco-environmental security and sustainable socio-economic development of China. Systematic studies on spatiotemporal evolution vegetation cover response dynamics to climate change in YRB at different timescales are lacking. Utilizing a long-term remotely sensed Normalized Difference Vegetation Index (NDVI) gridded dataset, we examined variability its variables Basin multiple by using Mann-Kendall test, rescaled range analysis, partial correlation analysis. Results indicated that annual NDVI decreased spatially from southeast northwest, peaked August. From 1982 2015, experienced greening during annual, growing season spring, with statistically significant increases ( p < 0.05) recorded over 55% vegetated areas. trends should be expected persist future, as evidenced Hurst index exceeding 0.5 85% areas YRB. Temperature precipitation determined pattern YRB, climatic variations varied among seasons zones. In contrast other seasons, spring was significantly correlated temperature, whereas winter more vulnerable suppression increased precipitation. growth susceptible than temperature arid semiarid zones, while dominated semi-humid zone, sunshine duration essential high-altitude regions. The study contributes deeper understanding interrelationship between provides useful suggestions regional conservation context global warming.

Regional vegetation dynamics and its response to climate change—a case study in the Tao River Basin in Northwestern China
The 30-year normalized-difference vegetation index (NDVI) time series from AVHRR/MODIS satellite sensors was used in this study to assess the regional vegetation dynamic changes in the Tao River Basin, which cuts across the Eastern Tibetan Plateau (ETP) and the Southwestern Loess Plateau (SLP). First, principal component and correlation analyses were carried out to determine the key climatic va...

متن کاملDecreased Streamflow in the Yellow River Basin, China: Climate Change or Human-Induced?
Decreased streamflow of the Yellow River basin has become the subject of considerable concern in recent years due to the critical importance of the water resources of the Yellow River basin for northern China. This study investigates the changing properties and underlying causes for the decreased streamflow by applying streamflow data for the period 1960 to 2014 to both the Budyko framework and...
متن کاملVegetation Carbon Storage, Spatial Patterns and Response to Altitude in Lancang River Basin, Southwest China
Vegetation plays a very important role of carbon (C) sinks in the global C cycle. With its complex terrain and diverse vegetation types, the Lancang River Basin (LRB) of southwest China has huge C storage capacity. Therefore, understanding the spatial variations and controlling mechanisms of vegetation C storage is important to understand the regional C cycle. In this study, data from a forest ...
