VALORIZATION OF BALANITES AEGYPTIACA FRUITS BY PRODUCTION OF BIOETHANOL: STUDY AND OPTIMIZATION

This work is part of the diversification renewable energy sources such as biomass. The present research aims to concentrate on valorization desert date fruits, i.e. Balanites aegyptiaca. To best our knowledge, this plant has never been valorized in Algeria so far. For this, it was decided choose one these namely pulp, a substrate for anaerobic fermentation production bioethanol, which shown have fairly significant added value. results morphological analyses fruits palm indicated that pulp represents 62.71% entire fruit, quite encouraging completion work. It should be noted most important ingredient process produce alcohol. Moreover, physicochemical characteristics raw material showed tree are rich sugar, with 59.68% total sugars and 34.18% reducing sugars. Note also essential elements alcoholic fermentation. obtained optimal dilution 1/4.4 (g / mL) gives 30% bioethanol (125 g fruit 30 ml 92° concentration).
